Monsoon
clock strikes 6 that I stretched my hands for the snooze of half an hour but the freeze weather in my room forced to the fan switch that I had to get up. That’s when I noticed the sound of the rain. I drag myself to the balcony that made me feel colder. But the sight of the dotted water pattern on my view made me stay.
I needed a perfect hot coffee for the environment. By then the rain had stopped so I thought to have a walk in this beauty with a sip of my coffee that I could feel it till reached my stomach. The circular ponds everywhere in the road made my feet cautions of not getting wet. Yet with my glimpse on the droplet of the leaf made my flip flops get muddy.
The dew drop on the leaf made my day. My eyes magnified that it gave me the best view of world. The reflection of the nature through it made me say ‘Thank you God for this wonderful day’.
Yes I get up grumbling for the morning. But today the things around me have taught me much more, that I have to be happy than to frown for the troubles. The nature with its green colour balanced with the yellows rays and shallow blue with white shapes floating on it. Isn’t it mesmerising?
That’s when I notice that I was done with my coffee. I couldn’t think of taking a step back to my mansion again. But as I had to get ready, to earn for the materialised world and also to avoid red faces by my superiors. So I forced myself to the steps other than the lift that I felt a step a day makes the doctor away.
I got myself fit into my office attire and had to run down to catch the cab, as to take my scooter today was not a good idea. I could see young lads so excited about the water ponds that they splashed on, moms running behind them to get their kids under the umbrellas. Some of them on their rain coats yet they got themselves wets. Yes rain had brought smiles in many and frowns in many too.
Some were on the best suits with no wrinkles and polished shoes but the climate had brought anger looks in them early mornings. My view through the foggy windows of the moving car had a blurred effect. But that made my site spellbind. I could see unusual non buyer standing at the supermarket to prevent them getting wet. The slippery roads made the traffic jam easier and bus to be late. The bus stops were crowded with people squeezing themselves to the small shelters over their heads. The birds on the electric line, enjoying the chances faced by men.

Now that I have reached my tower. I paid my cab and ran to the elevator with my bunch of files in my hand.  It was 9 past 5 as I have just a min to get welcoming faces and smiling good mornings.
